Stephen Lewis: The Healing MeditationIntroductionIn this fast-moving, busy world, finding a place of quiet is vital in order to discover what is missing, not working, or needed in your life. It is all too easy simply to react to what your head tells you it wants, rather than listening to what your heart intuitively knows you need. It is only when you allow yourself the time to meditate that you can still your mind and let your heart open up to new possibilities. I had always struggled to quieten my own mind and no matter what techniques I tried, I never felt I had achieved an authentic meditative state. My healing meditation music came to me as a magical gift on my journey of self-discovery, and it carries my own healing energy. As soon as I received the music I knew intuitively how it was to be used, and the mantra which was to accompany it. The technique I teach is simple: lie down, repeat the mantra silently in your head, and allow the energy of the music to take you effortlessly into a state of deep mental and physical relaxation. At the completion of a half hour meditation you will feel profoundly rested, energised and in balance with your body and your life. When practiced daily, my meditation will help you to achieve a pronounced improvement in all the major aspects of your life, by enabling mind, body and soul to exist in balance with each other. Over time, the benefits of meditation may include: reducing your dependence on medication, helping you to heal your own body, encouraging restful sleep, being able to relax more easily and lowering stress levels. .You will also find you are better able to connect with your intuitive wisdom to improve your decision-making abilities.
ContentTrack one: THE HEALING MEDITATION - 30 MINUTESThis track has been specifically designed for meditation. It should be set to play at a gentle volume, and, if possible, listened to with headphones while lying down. It carries my spoken guidance to begin and end the meditation, and has an angel bell to bring you gently back to consciousness. Track two: THE MINI MEDITATION - 15 MINUTES When time is limited, this shorter track may be played to bring mind and body back into balance. The angel bell gently rings at the end of this track to ensure you return to consciousness at the appropriate time, feeling refreshed and energised. Track three: THE HEALING THERAPY This music-only track may be used for reducing stress levels, promoting relaxation, encouraging sleep and generally to create a calming atmosphere - both within and around you.
